Grilled Greek Chicken Meatballs
1 1/2 lbs
Springer Mountain Farms Ground Chicken
1 cup
Red onion, diced
1/2 cup
Feta cheese, crumbled
3 cloves
Garlic, minced
3/4 cup
Parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon
Fresh mint, chopped
2 teaspoons
Dried oregano
1/2 tablespoon
Olive oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
- Preheat the grill to 400°F & set-up to completely cook over indirect heat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, onion, feta, garlic, parsley, mint, dried oregano, olive oil, salt & pepper until evenly mixed.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop & shape into meatballs.
- Place on the grill over indirect heat and cook for approximately 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Meatballs should be a nice golden brown color.
- Recommend serving with warm pita bread and tzatziki sauce.
