Chicken Burger

1 lb
Springer Mountain Farms Ground Chicken
2 cloves
Garlic, minced
1/2 cup
Panko bread crumbs
1/2
Poblano pepper, minced*
1
Egg
2 tablespoons
Fresh cilantro, chopped
1/2 tablespoon
Lime juice
1/2 teaspoon
Chipotle chili powder
1/2 teaspoon
Salt
1/4 teaspoon
Pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Onion powder
1
Avocado (ripe but firm for best results), pitted and diced
Buns
Sriracha aioli
Lettuce
  1. Heat indoor grill pan or light outside grill.
  2. Add Springer Mountain Farms Ground Chicken, minced garlic, bread crumbs, minced pepper, egg, cilantro, lime juice, chili powder, salt and pepper to a large bowl and mix well.
  3. Gently add in avocado chunks and shape into desired size patties.
  4. Grill 5-7 minutes on an indoor grill/pan or an outside grill at medium-high heat, or until the internal temperature of the burger reaches 165°F degrees.
  5. Serve with sriracha aioli on your favorite burger bun!

Sriracha Aioli

1 tablespoon
Lemon juice
2 cloves
Garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon
Kosher salt
1 cup
Prepared mayonnaise
2 tablespoons
Sriracha sauce or to taste (less if you don't like spicy or more if you want to punch it up!)

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Adjust seasonings and sriracha as necessary for desired taste.
